Field trip to the Rumsey Map Center at Stanford

The Rumsey Map Center at Stanford is the premiere historical cartographic collection on the West Coast and hold one of the world’s great collections available for public research and global digital access.  Following a talk by Laura Kreuger at SMCGS last month, we will be leading a group tour of the center.

Space will be limited to 20 participants.  You'll need to register with us in advance, and then you'll receive instructions on how to access the center.

We will meet at 2PM outside the library.  You will need to register with ID at the kiosk before entering Green Library.  

Note: There is limited handicapped parking in the vicinity.  Otherwise you will need to take the free Marguerite shuttle to a stop either 5 or 10 minutes walk away.  Maps with instructions to follow.
